PSCI 455 – SEM 0.50 – Course ID: 012949 – Comparative Political Economy

Focusing especially on advanced industrialized countries, this course surveys the key topics in political economy including the influence of politics on social and economic policies in relation to welfare states, labour markets, training, corporate governance and technological innovation. The course also explores the social and economic consequences of politics such as poverty, inequality, growth and decline. Prereq: Four PSCI courses; Level at least 4A.
