This course focuses on understanding the premise that hand skills can facilitate and help inform conceptual and academic skills. The content provides a broad based introduction to woodworking equipment, its fabrication methods and methodology. A combination of lectures and hands on experiences are used to equip students with the basic skills and knowledge required to conceptualize, fabricate and finish a designed object from wood.
