This course examines significant factors in contemporary fields of practice such as child welfare and mental health systems. Attention will be given to the historical developments, service delivery system, and practice skills that are related to each area. In addition, this course explores issues of diversity as they are related to these fields. Students are encouraged to examine their practicum experience as a field of practice.
