ERS 316 – LEC,TUT 0.50 – Course ID: 011666 – Integrated Urban Water Systems Planning and Management

Urban water management cases drawn from North America, Australia, Western Asia and the Global South within the context of climate change and extreme events (e.g., flooding and drought). Focus is on the development and maintenance of urban water and wastewater systems, including demand and supply management planning, efficiency mechanisms, privatization, development and equity concerns. When possible, field trips to local water supply and treatment plants and demonstration of applied water efficiency and reuse projects will occur. [Note: Field trip fee: $15-20.] Prereq: Level at least 2A
