This course examines the science of conservation biology, with a focus on the Order Primates and discusses the primary threats to primates in the wild, such as habitat alteration and hunting. It also examines and evaluates competing conservation strategies, in light of their ramifications for both the human and nonhuman residents. Prereq: ANTH 202, 261
